WTF- got my bl today

AHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA

HAHAHAhaha yeah...

wao. if you just drilled new mounting holes and went trhu the surround that was already glued to the basket you will be 100% fine.

UNLESS, if the glue is coming loose. if the surround doesn't look like it's coming off the basket then do not worry about it. if it is coming off the basket then you just ****ed yourself.
well i cant even see the hole in the surround, if there is one... its under the rubber gasket.

unmount the speaker.

after you have the speaker in your hands remove the gasket. yes it may feel like the gasket is glued but that it just a little excess glue that made it's way onto the gasket. don't be scared, just pull the gasket off..

now after you have the gasket off, inspect the NEW holes you just drilled. IF the surround that is glued to the basket is peeling off from the new holes you made then you might have a problem, IF the surround being glued to the basket is still intact and the new holes go through just fine, then your speaker is OK.

re-align the gasket mounting holes to the NEW holes you made on the speaker. if you can't see through the new holes cause of little bits of surround just pick it out of the new holes. after you have all the holes of the gasket re-aligned to the new holes, mount the speaker onto your box.

thanks a lot

You would thinking taking a gasket off a sub and making it align with the mounting holes would be the easiest part of the install...

Lawl at drilling through the basket instead of taking the gasket off. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
