And the rubber part going around the outside that the screws go through was like 1" longer than it should be... its like squeezed together now that i screwed it in... and like half of it was not glued on. Also, were there suppose to be holes already drilled for the mounting screws or not?

If you're talking about through the basket (Metal) then yes.

You simply have to rotate the gasket so the holes line up. There shouldn't be any holes in the part of the surround that is glue to the basket though.

o shit i may have drilled through the surround... i didnt know i could rotate the gasket since half of it was glued...

if i drilled through the surround will that cause problems

AHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA

HAHAHAhaha yeah...

wao. if you just drilled new mounting holes and went trhu the surround that was already glued to the basket you will be 100% fine.

UNLESS, if the glue is coming loose. if the surround doesn't look like it's coming off the basket then do not worry about it. if it is coming off the basket then you just ****ed yourself.
