WTF did I do? Bad amp??

Hey guys, I spent all day today installing my mag in my RSX (finally) and ran into some trouble when I went to turn it on..no matter how high the gain is on the amp, the mag still doesn't hit..it moves very slightly, but seems like it's getting no power from the amp at all..I have it wired to 4 ohms..everything seemed like it was hooked up perfectly, I double checked it and everything is fine with good secure connections. There are no blown fuses at the battery or distro, the ground is good and all the power lines are receiving ~14v. I also swapped the RCA's out for a different pair and hooked a different sub up to the amp to make sure it wasn't the Mag, so all of this leads me to believe that the amp somehow went bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I really have no idea where to go from here..anybody have any suggestions??

check your filters, that could do it too

Make sure that its plugged in the right rca jack in the hu, make sure your speaker wires arent switched around. I speak from personal expiernce.

Make sure your remote wire is connected and is not cut anywhere by chance.

Filters are fine, tried lots of different things with those..none of them seem to make a difference at all

The CD7000 was just slightly eq'd to make the stock speakers sound a little better, I also reset it to the factory settings and got the same results.

I just swapped my CD8445 into the car with the same results as well

Speaker wires are all correct, RCA's are plugged into the non-fader out on the CD7000..the remote turn-on is good as well, getting ~14vdc at both ends.

To check the speaker terminals on the amp do I keep the DMM on the same settings as it was on to check the voltage of all the other things?

Well, I'm almost positive it's the amp..only thing I haven't done is switch another amp in for it yet and I'll do that first thing tomorrow with either my 2100xxk or x200.2..if it is the amp, does anyone know the best place to get the 1200.1 repaired at? I don't know if your deck has the option or not... but make sure the sub setting is set to ON. My pioneer deck lets you turn the sub on and off.. and the amp stays powered up regardless.

If you do end up needing a repair send it to http://www.db-r.com/ i've had great experience with him. Also free qoute, send it and if its too much just pay for the shipping back. He's also the cheapest ive seen, just go to website to check. Just show im not being biased heres a nother thread with other places http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=176672 but i still reccomend DB-R

And with the amp def double check you didnt hook rca to output and not input, ive done that on accident, on some amps you'll still get a little sound but not anything much.

The mag is temporarily being run off my Arc Audio 2100XXK, and it POUNDS off the ehh ~300 watts I'm sending it..I love this sub

I'll be sending the 1200.1 off to db-r on monday!

No idea, I'm really confused because it worked fine until I took it out of my jeep, then took it home and kept it in my closet for 3-4 months...I really have no idea //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I'm going to take a look at the guts in a min and see if I can find anything
