Filters are fine, tried lots of different things with those..none of them seem to make a difference at all The CD7000 was just slightly eq'd to make the stock speakers sound a little better, I also reset it to the factory settings and got the same results. I just swapped my CD8445 into the car with the same results as well Speaker wires are all correct, RCA's are plugged into the non-fader out on the CD7000..the remote turn-on is good as well, getting ~14vdc at both ends. To check the speaker terminals on the amp do I keep the DMM on the same settings as it was on to check the voltage of all the other things? Thanks for the replies guys, this is weird ..how could my X1200.1 have gone bad from the time I took it out of my jeep (worked perfect) and stored it in the original box in my closet where it remained untouched..gayy
