WTB: 2 12's and an amp...

A guy that goes to my school was talking to me the other day and told me he wanted to get 2 12's and an amp to power them. He said he cares very little about SQ, he said he wants almost all SPL. The problem here is that he only has $300 to spend due to his paranoid mother...long story....He has a pioneer 3600 and some polk components...

What setup would you suggest for this price range

And the reason i am asking is because he said he could not register on this forum, i dont know why but i told him i would ask

What would you choose between 2 '05 CVR 12's or 2 '05 Alpine type-r's?

What amp would you recommend to push 2 12" type-r's?

Price about 200 or below?

I was thinking about a directed or viper refurb...they push about 1200@1ohm...would that be a good choice?
