yup i was on my way home from work today--when i got hit broadside by a van at an intersection. my cutlass is totaled--i'm heartbroken, that was my favorite car that i've ever had. so due to that i have everything i own car audio wise for sale. let me know if you need any of this stuff and what your willing to pay--maybe we can work something out. since i won't be installing any of this in a different vehicle i won't be able to accept any trades at this point. thanx for looking

might post some later----i took a ride in the ambulance and had em take the wreck to my mom's house (i live in an apartment) i had my friend go take out all my stereo equipment. maybe i'll go get pics tomorrow. they'll be coming to get it sometime since the other guys insurance company now owns the scrap metal.

Be careful about removing the alt or a few things like that, if the insurance company finds out what you may have removed, they may get a little sticky.. I just went through all this with my wifes van, she got hit head on by a fuqnozzle that dropped a cigarette in his lap and wasn't paying attention...

We just put a bunch of new stuff in the vehicle and we wanted to get stuff back that we knew we could use elsewise. We had just bought a full size spare (and left the other in there), but we were told we couldn't remove that from the van..

Be careful about removing the alt..

Why not leave the stuff in the car? no insurance? If you have insurance it will be covered. You will receive the estimated cost of the equipment or receipt value if the stuff is just new.

no need to leave it in there. the insurance is gonna pay me twice what i paid for the car so i'm not worried about the cost of the equipment. i'd rather sell it to pl who will use it than to have someone at the junkyard the car goes to steal it and sell it for their own profit.

As for the alternator, i put the old alt back in the car this morning. they'll never be the wiser.

Also to all who asked about fitment of the alternator. i don't know what vehicles this wil drop into, all i know is it fit right into stock mounting on my 81 cutlass. feel free to contact ohio generator with the model number---7290-190---to see if it will work on your application. this alt is practically brand new and still has no road grime or dirt on it. it is there older model but beleive me it works awesome. it has an external adjustable voltage regulator for those who use daily drivers to do comps with too.
