xmax isnt everything

While that is somewhat true, and lord knows everyone seems to love saying it these days... xmax is something, and its worth mentioning. In sealed systems, it means tons. In ported systems, it still has its importance, unless you play music that only has notes at or very near your enclosure's tuning point (you dont).
In fact, the only time the arguement against xmax really holds much merit is in burping very near tuning, where excursion is minimal. So while I agree xmax isn't everything, I wouldn't blow it off as all but irrelevant either (not saying you are, just saying).
