Set up consist of: Blazer

eclipse head unit with balance line adaptor 16volt rca pre-out

300 amp iraggi alt

2 runs of 0 gauge + and -

red top under hood kinetik 3800 and 1800 and the soundstream cap cell 1000

running stetsom 7kd at 1.4 ohms

we are dropping to like 11.8 maybe even lower at full tilt

at .35 we drop to like 10.8 and amp shuts off at full tilt

the specs on the cap cell is 1000 amp surge for 3 seconds and 21 amp hours

Just don't think we should be dropping this much with all of this and big 3 unless that amp is just ungodly power thirsty.

Is that cap cell hurting our electrical problem or helping it?

btw it's running 2 9518g's with z coils in a wall and they are not moving nearly as much as they should. box right now is 14 cubes at 39hz with 220square inches of port area. We're only doing a 154 right now but we just need to get those subs moving more.

anyone? I'm guessing with or without it we still need at least two more big batteries cause I would really like to run it at .35 ohms and make some serious power.

It could help the only thing is when a company rates by things like surge or max when it comes to power a voltage point to reference the surge would be handy. Is that ran down to .1v, 6 volts? Maybe 7 or 10? If the score goes down or stays the same with it I would take it out and add more batteries. Doesn't hurt to try out what you already have.

If you are wanting to add more 3800's and do away with the smaller batteries this is how I would do it. You can ground at the back frame but I still would add the front ground to the alt bracket done in at least 1 0 ga run. My art proggy basically sucks so I didn't put any fuses in it. I would fuse off the alt and back by the rear batteries. If you add a 3rd to the back just put it in the middle of the other 2 and keep the connections the same. If the amp has more than 1 power and ground Mirror the other connection across the bank(use the other pos and neg). I would also get a good AGM charger and top the batteries off at least a couple times a month.
