Would you guys buy this?

Local guy is offering me two 15 inch alpine type Rs. One works and the other doesnt. They are in a ported box. He only wants 100. Should I do it? I've already got a system im working on so I wouldn't use it but Im thinking I could resell it for more but I dont know that want to do that.

Would you guys buy them?

just give him like $45 for the one that works and then resell it.. no use in taking the blown one

Yeah i told him to bring both so i make sure i get the one that works. Thinking about offering some money for the box too since he said it was custom made but im gonna wait and take a look at it first.

He just told me hes taking offers on his jl 1000/1. I guess he had the two type rs hooked up to it. What would you guys offer for it? I've heard them before liked them but usually stayed away because of the price. I've already got a discus 2000.1 so ive got no need for this just thinking i could make some money buying it and reselling. Of course im gonna go as cheap as i can but whats used 1000/1 go for?

JL's slash series of amps are very inefficient. They take a specific type of system to fit well imo. I wouldn't want it, unless it was very cheap, but then id probably flip it.

For future reference, dont announce what you paid for an item you might be flipping on this website in a week or two. Or lie and tell us you paid $80 for it.
