How much do you know about PSUs? Amperage and all on the 12v rails? What about ones with multi rails and all? What brands do you believe are "good" within computers?
Anything under 50 dollars is generally going to be pretty junk.
Some Thermaltake, Corsair, OCZ, PC&C PSUs are good.. Modular systems would be good for this sort of project.
Adding some form of mounting flange to them similar to plate amps in HT setups would be good as well but require tooling.
