I bet it will with your lack of knowledge.. Reconing sub is basically having a brand new woofer just a used motor and basket.... A lot of companys hand build their subs i believe..

not sure if you're capable of building it yourself, but I'd do 2 15" AQ SDC2.5 and AQ1200D. $1k should cover subs, amp, wiring, and building materials.

I bought a NEW Kicker L7, latest-gen model for $220 a few months ago so I don't know why a refurb one is only $30 less.

They're good subs, the newest one(same one that you have in the link) can take some abuse.
