who uses mass loaded vinyl? worth it?

ive already deadened most of my car and im looking to deaden my roof, and rear doors and while im at it i was considering buying some mass loaded vinyl (MLV) and some closed cell foam and doing everything.

im just curious to who has used mlv, what kind, how much, which areas and how the results were.

I use it all thr time in HTs, and occasionally on auto installs. Whrn used correctly it is a wonderful addition to a isolating system. 100% use it, take pucs and educate the members here. 60-75 ft should be more than enogh.

doors, firewall, cabin/trunk seperation, floor and roof. anywhere in the envelope of the cabin.

keep gaps as minimal as possible.

deadner, mlv and foam is the other big 3!
