im using a MAW12, DVC, 4ohms
all i can do is run it bridged at 8ohms, which isnt enough power for my sub. im trying to find a way to trick it into uing 2ohms without blowing it up lol.. until i get a new one thats 2ohm stable
Trick? You can burn the paper and see magic smoke, that's the only trick you can get.
You're going to have to bridge that amp at 8ohms wiring up the voice coils in series, like this:
Or run each voice coil independently to their respective channel on the amplifier, and make sure you switch the amp to MONO with the switch...if that's even possible on that amp.
