ok my amp says its stable at 2ohms x 2 channels. can i wire it this way, pic below. + to + from the amp on one voice coil, - to - from the amp to the same voice coil (from channel one) then like with paralell, take the + and - from voice coil one, and put it on the second voice coil, then run more wires, + from that voice coil to + on the second channel of the amp, then - to - to the amp. would that work? it would be in stereo mode, which is stable for 2ohms. only 250watts. but thats about how much wattage i was getting before when i ran it paralell, 2ohms bridged (its only stable at 4ohms bridged) would this kill my sub if i did that?

ok so cut out the middle man. forget the wires connected the 2 voice coils together. i did this earlier today, wired each VC up to each channel of the sub. hit hard for like 10 seconds, then it went back down on its power. any reason why? or am i just stuck in a shitty place because i have a POS amp?

Are you using that POS amp with a pressed paper cone? How many VC's does the amp have?

What brand is your amplifier, model number as well?
