would this sub be an improvment?

I currently have (2) 12" Digital Audio subs that say they are 1500 watt rms each, i am running them off of a 2 channel digital audio 2400 watt amp. I was wondering if a 15" orion HCCA dual 4 ohm 2500 watt rms sub in an enclosure made for it would sound better then the two 12" subs i have now!

evrytime i talk about my DA equipment evryone sais that there probably not putting out that much and put down DA. I dont really know that much so is DA really that bad? should i change my stuff?

sufficient wiring, proper settings, GOOD BOX etc. many factors haha but it might

not that great. your amp will not handle the 2 ohm load from the orion will present, if you wire it to 8 ohms then it will not put out enough power.

most likely that 2500 watt rating is a "max" rating.

if you really want to impress some people, look into trying 2 or 3 dd 1508's. badass 8" and can take tons of power and can/will get very loud. i was running just 1 on 1krms and it got it like a mofo.
