Would this setup work?

I'm pretty new to car audio, and i already have an alpine head unit with some alpine s class speakers and im upgrading to an amp and a sub, would these components work with eachother?

EFX wiring? its a little expensive and i have found a cheaper kit by Impact, http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=881&CFID=5403574&CFTOKEN=30076268

how is the quality? should i stick with the EFX kit?
