Aight I have 2x 12" Type R's in a 4ft^3 slot port box tuned to 35Hz and powered by a PA A2400DB @ 1 ohm (I know,not the best amp choice).

I set gains using dmm and 50hz test tone recorded at 0db's and it sounds fine but it just wasn't loud enough from the trunk probably becuase there was and is no sound deadening and I had the 6x9's removed still not loud enough so I decided to put the box in the backseat, subs and port firing up and it is alot louder then in the trunk but.....my rear deck likes to dance LOL and it is really really annoying the hell out of me.

Now,I was thinking...

In a IB setup you're sealing the front of the box off from the trunk or sealing the trunk from the cabin and this usually will get you louder (less air needs to be pressurized) soooooo....

Is there something I can place ontop of or below the rear deck to seal it off from the cabin of my car and do you think I would notice a difference in output?

Don't flame please....I am on my way up in the car audio world as soon as I get this job ($10/Hr for 6 hrs/day per 6 days a week...and did I mention under the table) and will be getting Either 4x 15" Q's or 2x 18" Q's or 2x 15" BTL's or 2x 18"

BTL's whichever I can afford and afford to power the best.
