I love lamp.
Cause im from oklahoma too....the Mcalester area to be exact. Im not tryin to stalk you or anything, geez.......lol
Just dont get blaupunkt. Crutchfield is not always right on the fitment guide, the ones i listed should fit just fineI don't know what you mean. I have never done any car audio or anything like this before. Primarily one of the reasons I am using Crutchfield, I have no idea how you guys view them, but for me at least, you can call them if you run into problems, they send you detailed instructions how to install it for your particular vehicle, etc. So I dont have to know anything about this stuff if I use them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I just realized that those Blaupunkt PCxb402's wont fit.
I swapped those out for this:
Blaupunkt PCxb542
I was looking through the list of "Compatible" stuff for the rear deck and also saw these two (the next two best, same price). My question, at least for these rear-decks, it the extra $10 worth it for the larger sizes, and what about the other brand (I have been trying to stay within Blaupunkt though, as I do know in home theatre and other speaker situations to stay within the same brand for uniform sound) of Kicker? Those two are here:
Blaupunkt PCxb652
Kicker 05DS525
This really doesnt tell me what you are thinking I should get.Just dont get blaupunkt. Crutchfield is not always right on the fitment guide, the ones i listed should fit just finekicker or rockford should make a cheap 5 1/4"
I already posted what you shoud get....This really doesnt tell me what you are thinking I should get.Obviously it's a matter of opinions (some here thought it is OK, which is all I need), so what do you suggest me getting? "Just dont get blaupunkt" doesn't tell me what you would get in my situation.
Being I really dont have any other resource to go as far as fitment goes, Crutchfield is all I have. "Should Fit" won't do it for me, I have gotten stuff (not related to audio) that I thought "Should Work" but dont work.
I think thats a bit of an understatement.Might sound better than stock.
That's about it.

That seems to me to be the overall what I have been told so far.Thier HU are badass IMO. Only really good thing they made.
Speakers, for the price, are ok. better than xplode's anyway, not that it's saying much
Do those all fit??? See that is what I am rather reluctant on doing, is getting something I am not sure about.6.5'shttp://cgi.ebay.com/Polk-Audio-DB650-Coaxial-Speakers-Grills-6-5-NEW_W0QQitemZ320064993804QQihZ011QQcategoryZ18799QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

blau's head units are good. if that's the feature you want, then that head unit will be good. the speakers are just ok as stated by many. i believe you needed 6.5's and 5.25's correct? the only question is the mounting depth. measure what you have in the door and buy accordingly. if you don't want a sub, go with a better brand than blau speakers. you're fine with the blau head units.Do those all fit??? See that is what I am rather reluctant on doing, is getting something I am not sure about.
The main reason I chose what I posted is because the reviews are pretty positive (The one common thing is they can't handle lows very well... but thats something I will just have to see about and maybe add a sub later, if I want it).
I'll keep looking, but I am unable to find a front-mounted AUX-input on a HU without spending a couple hundred on just the HU. So my next question would be... How hard is it to take a line from between the seats somewhere (where I could set the MP3 player) and run it behind that unit? I have never done this before, so I dont know how easy that would be or not.
