i know the amp wouldnt push them to full capacity but would it be a waste of money to buy that amp? i really dont have the budget for the 1000w amp

it will work good but like every one else will say get a bigger amp.

btw wire ur subs like this to get tha 2 ohm load,

If your confined to Kicker brand...there options for ya to get the 1k such as Hifonics.
