ok right now i have 2 12inch kicker comps in my room, getting about 50wrms each, in a small ported box, well the low end sucks, like the second bass note in late night tip, you can't even hear/feel so i was gonna build a new box but don't wanna spend the money/time when hopefully im gonna upgrade to a mj-18 soon, so i was thinking of buying some pollyfill to see if that helps, would it be worth it or not.

yea you need more than 50 watts for those subs to come alive. Plus if u have it hooked up to a home theater amp the subwoofer output may have a crossover that is higher than desired for car audio

If funds are tight I guess you could make a box for one and send it 100w.

well there svc8ohm, amp does 100wrms@4ohms so theres no way of sending all 100watts to one sub, so more power is out, and to be honest there weren't that good when they each had 200w, a single atlas sealed dominates the 2 ported, well i guess i just live with what i have untill i find some sucker to buy them.

loose bass when the polyfill gets in the way of the port. purpose of putting a polyfill is to slow down the speed of air so it'll think its in a bigger box. putting polyfill in a ported box is fine.

i think it will change the tuning frequency...
