What can they take, 1000 RMS? I would be very very careful and keep the gains WAYYY down...but I still don't know if it will hold it, don't have any personal experience with the IDMAX's

if you carelessy crank it up, sure you'll probably blow it, but if you be careful you shouldn't have any troubles...

well i don't plan on any spl comps, maybe some sq and i doubt if i could even handle that set up in a car small as mine.
