hi i currently have a diamond audio D6600.4 amp. i am thinking about upgrade my D3 10in sub to a D6 10in or 12in sub. if i upgrade my sub to a D6 sub, i want to get the D61000.1 mono amp. so i was wondering if i can just get away with just doing the Big 3 and getting a yellow top battery. thanks

whats the specs on that amp? and what ohm will you run it at with your new sub?

the D61000.1 puts out 500 watts at 2ohm. ill probably run it at 2 ohm.

500 watt systems can easily survive on most alternators
