Would I need a new alt or smaller fuse?

So I have two DC Lvl 2 12"s on a 1.2k, 1/0 power wire along with 1/0 Big 3 wire to a XS Power D3400 battery and a stock alternator from a 93 toyota tercel. I bought the wire in kits from SHCA and I got two 350A fuses with them. Is that too much? Would I need to downsize to at least 300A, or is buying a new alt absolutley necessary? TIA

If it came with 350s it's fine. You are going to need a alt if they even make one. I'm betting yours is a 60 amp

Pretty sure SHCA 1/0 is rated at 250a at 20 feet.

Well they gave me 350A for 17 feet.

Scratch that. 270 at 20 feet. Not much more for 17 feet. You're fused too high for sure.

Sounds good. Where can I find fuses though besides online?

EDIT: I see BestBuy has some but not sure if they sell in-store. It's a 45 minute drive so I'd like not to go that far just to check.

What type of fuses are they? Generally fuses that size are ANL and Best Buy will NOT carry them. You might find them at a local audio shop but they'll be expensive. Ebay is your best bet for a decent price.
