hes asking is he better of running 2 subs with 1000 watt amp or 2 sets of 1 sub with 1 500 watt amp. Also the 4 amp thing is he means hes gonna have four subs so the question really is whether he should run 4 subs off 2 bigger amps or 4 smaller amps.

It was very clear, noob. It's like asking should I put one sub and one amp or double it? Because, he's gonna end up with the same thing anyways.
