Would a t-line box do the trick?

Ok so I've been dragging butt about get my system back in. I just have so many ideas I don't know where to start. I have a dd9518g planned with either a m3 or m4 in a full size bronco. As off now I have 4 group 31 odyssey batts and a 240 mechman under the hood. I will do 2 runs of welding wire.

Now I've seen vids of 1 9518 and I'm not sure after a month or 2 will be happy with the bass. I was thinking about running 2 15, 4 12 and the list goes on. At the end of the day I just want one sub..

So I was wondering if I should spend more time on building a good box like a t-line or folded horn? Would this take an great sub and make it better?. I plan on going to comps one day...and where would I find a design such a box?

I had a 9918 In 7 cube box with 105" of port tuned to 35hz... It was doing 147db on music on 1500watt amp. 1 18" in a nice box should make you rather happy

I will be doing 2 x the power. So hopefully my numbers can be higher. So I think I should push for an t-line box...now I'm on the hunt for a design

you'd fill the entire vehicle with a single TL.

the typical design is the line area being equal to cone area (sd) and the line length being equal to 1/4 of the driver fs wavelength (1125/(fs x 4)). with an 18, it would be a massive box.

Approximately 14 cu. ft. internal line volume for 26Hz tuning. Add wood, woofer, and woofer chamber and you're over 20 cu. ft.

I started one for a Diamond Audio 12d2. Figured I'd play around with it since it's just sitting there. Been seriously thinking of doing a t-line for my D6 15" but it'd take then whole cargo area from the window line down.



@CSCStang has me trying to put everything in a t-line. So far the more I build the better they turn out.
