to solve the dimming problem with a Hifonics 1500watt amp? I have a new battery under the hood also. I have upgraded the negative to chasis with 4 gauge. And block to chasis too. I have 14.4 volts at idle with headlights off and a/c off.

upgrade to 2 or 0 guage wire first, and do the big three. If those dont help, a new alternator would definitely solve the problem
