that brace really takes away from a smooth flow. I would highly Suggest not doing that and using a double baffle. It will work but theres more to be had

Ill see if i can go a bit higher and add another layer of MDF up there.. Is that doable?

.75" is not a lot of space... I would suggest adding another layer for the baffle, too.

if you add it to the port part, then tuning will change a bit. tuning will be a little lower.

I would change the blade on your table saw to a cross cut blade. It has more teeth and provides a cleaner glue surface cut. The propper blade for the job that is also SHARP is very important for geting a good crisp edge when dealing with sheet stock such as MDF>

yeah. It's just screwed in, so it wouldn't be a pain to remove. lol and i assume it didnt get stolen? those air mattresses will do the trick every time.

it's only about 6 or 7 inches wide... the angle makes it look like wider, though. Theres still a good distance between either side of the brace and the wall. shouldn't cause any interruptions in airflow
