I need a blow through design, that does not require me to cut a very large whole in the cab. The truck is a single cab 2004 silverado. I saw a couple designs where the subs face eachother and fire into the middle and the port extends to the inside. Whatever works and will be the loudest. This is for a daily SPL truck, I want it to be loud!

Anyway, here are dimensions:

Length: Up to 78" but would like to keep it shorter so I can use some of my bed.

Width: 50"

Heigth: 22"

Buyers do NOT make the pricing for box designs...............the designers do. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Unless someone is needing money to buy crack, I think a box of this caliber will cost more than $15 if you want it done right.

Hell, even "regular" box designs go for about $10-$15.............

per you PM,

Here is a Bandpass design based on the driver parameters.

Pass band 28-90Hz

I have to say that is **** impressive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif you have a pm again

the advantage of a bandpass if done correctly is to get the control of a sealed box with the gain of a ported box.

Within the designed passband..

rpfuror... you design some wicked boxes

I'm almost done with that box you designed for the 3 re sx

I'll post some pics.

Whats the deal with some people having a sub(s) inverted? does it make a difference in a regular ported enclosure?

I think it looks nice,

saves the sub displacment inside the box. so you have that little extra airspace

I wouldn't recommend it; if you have the space to do an inverted mount you probably have the space to extend the box an inch or two to increase volume. Inverted mounting also leaves more exposed parts for physical damage. Sometimes, however, what appears to be inverted mounting may actually in fact be isobarik loading.
