working for the power company

what could i expect if i get on with the power company locally? i want tobe an electrical engineer for more things than houses and cities, things like cars/trains/planes whatever. what would i be doing as a new hire with no experience? im positive enough to say nothing serious. probably cut grass around power polls/power boxes and stuff like that, but has anyone become a new hire for a power company. i would like to do co-op in school if possible. work a semester/school a semester and all that.

i wont do that lol, id hurt someone before i helped them. i cant stand people that complain about shit they have no clue about. if ima grass cutter/food runner for a job...whatever, i gotta work my way up i guess.

Okay well one of my fraternity brothers is an EE major and he co-ops at Georgia Power and makes $20 an hour as it is now.

wut does he do? im sure he doesnt cut grass and do lunch runs lol. but he obviously isnt making what he could, being a co-op student. I want to get on in the summer i guess, and see where it leads. I dont know if I want to be an electrical engineer, or architectual design major. what are some places that could higher summer help for architectual design?

sounds good, hes obviously hands on, do u know if he is training to be a lineman? i guess you dont, but let me know for sure what hes doing, i may look farther into it.
