hahaahhaahahahahah fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunk no!!! it's getting all 380 watts with a low volume on the amp and on the receiver.

MDF went down in price here. 4x8 sheet is $21.96.
MMMM a thread about wood, it turns me on.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
Just picked one up for $18 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif

I use partical board. Its only 5.79 for a 3/4" 2x4 sheet. Its just as good as mdf but a lot cheaper!!!

Actually, it would take 4 of those pieces to equal a 4x8 sheet. And 5.79 multiplied by 4 is 23.16, so no, its not really a lot cheaper.

Yeah, from the lumberyard the furniture grade stuff is 50 dollars. It's good stuff, but not good enough (too hard to work with). Seeing that adio will need more than one sheet, I don't think a single board will cut it. Post pics of stuff you've done in BB, I always enjoy seeing Mr. My Brother 's work. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I haven't built any regular ( wood ) enclosures in ages. I am going to here very shortly though. So just for you my brother I will post some pics when I start //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I saw some slab mahogany at a local lumber yard. I would love to build some nice ht enclosures out of it. But don't really feel like auctioning off my house to do so. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Trupan is the only other thing I can think of as well. Allthough no matter what you build it out of, short of paper mache or posterboard. An 8 cuft enclosure ain't gonna be light //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
WHEN ramos SPEAKS!! JU LISTEN!!

TRUPAN! 60% lighter, prob 200% the price of MDF, if u can find it at a lumber yard.

Check it out! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

If they weigh 23 pounds then they will last longer than all of us combined. The term "Brick Shitthouse" comes to mind.
