Yes I have used it, and you need to treat the wood to get it to become ideal. You cannot possibly be that cheap that you buy cheaper wood because of the price. Use a nice 7-ply plywood then. I won't lie, it IS money..and alot of it. But it is good wood, and behaves like MDF but lighter.it doesn't necessarily have to be cheaper than MDF. weight is more important to me than anything right now

I think that you must make your own particle board out of grammar books.well it works for me and i am not aruging with you about wood that u like or dont like i tell u what i use and what i think works and i use it ok
