7-ply baltic birch isn't 30 dollars..and if it is, send me some.

I can get slightly messed up ( dropped on the corners and such ) 7 ply bb for around $20 for a 4 x 8 sheet every once in a while at the local lumber yard. Normally it runs $45 a sheet here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Trupan is the only other thing I can think of as well. Allthough no matter what you build it out of, short of paper mache or posterboard. An 8 cuft enclosure ain't gonna be light //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah, from the lumberyard the furniture grade stuff is 50 dollars. It's good stuff, but not good enough (too hard to work with). Seeing that adio will need more than one sheet, I don't think a single board will cut it. Post pics of stuff you've done in BB, I always enjoy seeing Mr. My Brother 's work. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

whats wrong with that for some covers or panels? i dont use it for box building, just panels

you know what you need? Its called trupan mdf. Its JUST like mdf, but lighter. Its like double the price of regular mdf, but its 60% lighter. Check into it.
its not close to double the price, its 33 a sheet here, mdf is 27....... and iirc, its in the range of 45 percent lighter? thats what id like to say, but like i said its allot more brittle than regular mdf. and sanding creates a huge mess
