Can someone draw a detailed schematic of how I hook up a TV, cable box, dvd player, and surround sound system. logical and understandable please. I want surround though whenI'm watching through my cable box, not only when I'm watching a dvd. Don't worry about the power supply for all of the things, I'm assuming there is power.

Buy a 5.1 or 6.1 channel surround reciever. It is much easier, and very self explanitory. Much better sound too.
