Now that I have had a few months with a type R sub, I am amazed on how loud this baby is and how good its sounds getting that loud. Of course install and tweeking is a big key. The amp pushing this puppy, Alpine MRP-M650, is a beautful match, pushing 600 RMS. The thing is, I only have 1 12'. I can't even fathom having a second one. For me it would be complete overkill. Don't get me wrong here, I know you bass heads here have multiple subs and your system sounds great. My brother does, but his needs work. My system is designed that everything blends well togeather, bass mids, highs. I can still run people out of my car, lol. I would love to see the expression on peoples faces when you sq bassheads run people out of your car, not because it sounds like loud garbage, but because it sounds great at insane loudness. Must be a real chuckle. On the other side of this, I had a co- worker that had multiple subs, when he turned it up, it made me gag, It was hidious. My hat is off to you sq bassheads that can make you system sound great when rediculously loud.
