I know where your going with that but up here its not only about the gas for our cars, each time it goes up it affects fuel oil, korosene, propane.... We are spending way to much as it is for heating our homes. The added costs hurtz.

Very true. I have heard horror stories about the prices of heating oil in the northeast. I feel for you there and I know it hurts. You cant just quit your job though. Even if you dont work you still have to heat your house. Its a catch-22 and it sucks.

That how people are at my friends house, we were using a skill saw making a box at 3pm and the cops end up taking him to jail for trying to fight it, even though the sound ordinance didn't kick in until 10pm..
Mainly I figure the reason they handled it like that is that we were "younger" (20 & 21 at the time) and most of the cops around here hate "kids".

Also they profile like hell, I float through town at 12-5am I get followed through out to the city limits.

Those with basic cable will be unaffected by the switch. Those who receieve basic television via antennae will be affected. The govt is giving away a coupon to make the price of the converter box next to nothing. However, I do agree that it is stupid to force people to get it.

if you need a truck for working, transporting whatever, then you should have a truck. But if you're just driving back and forth between work say 50 miles a day each way, you should not have a **** escalade.

If I can afford to drive an escalade, why do you have the ability to legislate what I can and cannot drive? Talk about restriction of freedoms. I drive 45 mi each way to work in my s10. I could buy a more fuel effecient car, but I chose not to. Also, notice I did not complain about the gas prices either. It is a waste of time.

I drive a big gas guzzler and I'm not sitten here Bitchen about it. all I said was this, if it hits $10 a gallon. My quote below.

Work's too far for me to ride a bike, I'll be riden a moped or street bike if gas hits $10 a gallon though. Think mopeds get like 70 mpg.

Hell no I'm not lazy. I bust my *** at work continously till the work is done. I'm usually too tired to be riden a bike back and forth to the store which is a few miles each way.
