if what i was told today ends up being true. within a matter of a week or 2 id say at least 60% of the US will be out of work.

a friend who works for a local gas station said they were told that by Aug-Sept that gas is expected to reach $10 a gallon. if that happens i dont even want to see what places like Cali are paying.

I think if we lowered the speed limit to 60, gas prices will fall. The easiest and cheapest way to lower the price of fuel.

may help a little although most vehicles are designed to get the most between 60-65

it was 3.75 here yesterday and at 3pm went to 3.89. with crazy jumps like that i could see it going over 5 a gallon easy.

although i hope not

Work's too far for me to ride a bike, I'll be riden a moped or street bike if gas hits $10 a gallon though. Think mopeds get like 70 mpg.

Gas will not be $10 a gallon in America. Not this year anyway.

Even if it was, 60% is an extreme number. Some yes. More than half? Not likely.
