I cant remember the numbers but it was like gas went up 300%

im starting to wonder if oil is almost depleted. Maybe the oil companies know that they only have maybe another year or two before it dries up? Just an idea

I was talking about the time frame of the list. If it was last year it must have been over a considerably amount of time to say tripled considering gas was over a dollar 10 years ago.

I see it going to 6 a gallon this year and 10+ next year if that happens, im quiting my full time job since I drive 60 miles a day @ 25mpg's. Mine as well go with the rest of the country and go on welfare and have the gov support me. BTW, we are fighting for freedom overseas but what freedoms do we honestly have? I had the police stop by today at 5pm because my kids were out on the trampoline and "they are to loud" I asked what time the sound ordinance was the cop says 10pm hmmmnnn I told him to tell the neighbors to buy some earplugs and wear them till 10pm, Im gonna burp my comp car everyday at 9:59pm for a few months //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I feel we have FEW freedoms left!!!!

That sucks about your neighbors and I can see your point but its pretty dependent on your salary and your other options.

Would I still spend $20 a day to drive to 100k a year job vs. $10 a year ago? Sure would. In perspective, that is a difference of less than 2500 annually if gas were to double.

Yes its a good chunk of change, but dont lose perspective on the important things in life.

the only thing that would be nice if people only drove the cars they actually needed.

i hate seeing all the dumb bitches on the road in SUVs when there is absolutely no need for them to have one. (not just specific to women, but i see it more)

if you need a truck for working, transporting whatever, then you should have a truck. But if you're just driving back and forth between work say 50 miles a day each way, you should not have a **** escalade.

That how people are at my friends house, we were using a skill saw making a box at 3pm and the cops end up taking him to jail for trying to fight it, even though the sound ordinance didn't kick in until 10pm..

Mainly I figure the reason they handled it like that is that we were "younger" (20 & 21 at the time) and most of the cops around here hate "kids".

Also they profile like hell, I float through town at 12-5am I get followed through out to the city limits.

I know where your going with that but up here its not only about the gas for our cars, each time it goes up it affects fuel oil, korosene, propane.... We are spending way to much as it is for heating our homes. The added costs hurtz.

I agree with you there, we spent a crap load over the winter heating our home.
