walking or a bike isnt an option for most working class since most drive at least 20miles one way i would think.
bus or other public ***** would work other than EVERYONE would be on it and fares would sky rocket to pay for their gas

Depends....some trains run on coal, etc.

The issue is, some employers expect the employee to stick around 5 or 20 minutes after closing time....like mine. I would miss the bus, so to speak.

If it were law, it would shift the demand curve to the left because you would observe a decrease in aggregate demand.

To some extent. But it would have very little effect in large metropolitan areas.

And this is two-fold. During rush hour you dont get to the speed limit. During times of lower traffic very few people obey them anyways.

Im looking at what is coming out of my wallet. If I put 20 dollars in my tank and I get 100 miles out of it and I slow down and get 110 out of it thats great. But in a month when I put 20 dollars in im going to only 90 miles out of it because it went up. I know what u guys are saying and I agree but it does nothing to lower gas prices

no point in doing that unless u have a old very old vehicle that is most vehicles have a steel screen on the line that goes into the tank so no one can syphon gas from your tank.

Might be why we weren't missing any gas, but they left the door hangen open then.
