wonderful gas prices

Im saying their are more mature ways of handling things. But again I evidently would have to spell it out for your dumb *** and its kinda funny reading what you type. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
because filing a complaint will get you anywhere and prevent it from happening again?

you claim to have better ideas than I, but yet you do not propose any of them.

Gas at home just went up to $1.319 a Litre ( $5 a US gallon) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Oh well, still love our new Mitsubishi Outlander. Thank god I get paid well.

Also people keep saying to add ethanol to gas, that may stretch the world's oil reserves but it is also helping driving up the cost to fill your belly. I live in Saskatchewan right in the middle of the Canadian prairies and you can see a number of farmers that used to grow wheat, oats, barley etc. have switched to growing corn. That lowers the amount of the cereal grains available on the market and increases the cost of something as simple as bread

i believe one of the last studies i have read claimed that it cost more energy to produce the ethanol out of corn than was gained from the ethanol itself

Agreed but so do gas prices. Its kind of a no win no matter what. Especially when you consider the cost of processing corn into ethanol and the lower mileage.

Right now I believe the government has an iron grip on the cost of ethanol, it itself will not be a solution but just a start. Seeing as how it is more costly to make than gas and burns faster. To bad the government wont iron grip the oil companies with thier 7 billion in profits in times of "shortages"...but yea buy a car that gets great milage or start walking. Most of the people in America could use alittle excercise anyway.

mjf you are a communist //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
far from, i dont believe some things should be government controlled, just that people should be more reasonable as to their massive amount of materialism as to why they need an suv over a car thats better on gas.

the funniest part i find about this is when i see the oil companies claiming they lost $X amount, when its just that they didn't make as much money as before.

Granted this has become commonplace, as many companies will say they lose money as opposed to just saying they didnt make as much. They're not losing any money if they aren't making more money than they did before.
