What if the neighbor upstairs could had an issue with it? The neighbor down the block, accross state, etc. Anyone would had allergic reactions to fragrances can sue you? Because your purchase would entice the manufacturer to produce more, thus, you are perpetuating the problem of aggravting my allergies.

i do take offense, but i can walk away, its not like i live there
cigarette smell and toxins travel in the smoke, if there is smell there is smoke and toxins even if it isnt visable

i'm not trolling at all, i hate smokers and feel they should have no rights, thats my stance on the issue

the thing i noticed with smokers is, that if they smoke a lot, things start to smell like smoke (clothes, car, breath). So they may just be smelling her apartment, which is kinda what flip is getting at. It might not actually be smoke. So if someone smells like shit, you can sue them cuz they have bad hygene and their apartment stinks?

Everytime someone posts on here, his posts piss you off....should he be banned? or should you ignore him and/or leave the forum yourself if it bothers you that much.

you know for all the people that hate smoking they sure do enjoy reaping the benefits of people that buy cigarettes. without smokers your taxes will go up even more, and i dont know if other cities do the same but without "sin" tax on cigarettes and alcohol cleveland wouldnt of gotten Progressive field (where the indians play) or Quicken Loans Arena (where the cavs play) smokers built that **** places and they cant even smoke there lol how ironic.

and i hate since ohio became smoke free that you can go into bars and see people killing their livers by drinking hundreds of dollars worth of liquor and then driving home drunk and saying how great it is that they dont have to breath in second hand smoke anymore.....

No, I believe that chosing to live in an apartment forces one to live with externalities commonplace to that enviornment. Just as living in a city forces one to live with both sound and enviornmental pollution, living in an apt with a policy that allows smoking and pets would also subject occupants to negative externalities.

true, this girl i am know doesnt smoke, but she lives with her parents who smoke. even though she closes her door and closet door she always smells like smoke. i picked her up for lunch a few weeks back and kicked her out of my car because i couldnt stand

What if the company can purchase pollution offsets that reduce the taxes for that community. Many people benefit through lower taxes and a few die.
