no physical damage to either of the subs. I hooked them up in my truck to test and as soon as the subs started to move, to my surprise, one of the subs started to show coil rub. I played the sub on several different songs, but the
coil rub still showed and didn’t go away. I was hoping it would go away after a couple minutes of use, but no luck there.
Obviously coil rub still shows... therefor most can assume he meant coil rub was
noticeable, not visibly shown. Thus my statement... all depends on how you perceive it. Most of the time coil rub is not visible, many times it is happening on the inside of the former as well. Thus again why I was saying, it is very possible he was hearing a rubbing sound but was not 100% sure it was indeed coil rub. Maybe the OP will come in and better clarify as to why he continued to play them, I was simply going off of assumptions that seem to make sense.[/quote
^^^ Exactly what I meant to say. Sorry I didn't clarify myself further.
And lemme get this straight....he did original order on the 11th. Couldn't pay for it all until the following monday....the 17th. Where he got a sale price (even though it was over) Tracking number sent on the 7th of Feb. So it took 18 days to build the subs, package them up, and ship them out.....How the fack is that 4 weeks waiting? It's not PAP's fault USPS took a week to ship.
Actually, I ordered the FIRST sub on February 7th via my CC, and called PAP that saturday night IIRC since the sale ended. They called me back and on the 10th, and told me they would give me their decision the following day. They emailed me an invoice on the 11th, and that's when I paid. Why wouldn't they ship using a better service; such as Priority or UPS/Fed Ex? Even then, they overcharged me on shipping...
