WMD2 w/ coil rub/Terrible PAP Experience

Why wouldn't his cc process both at the same time? Lemme guess....cause there wasn't enough room on it for both.
And why did they give him the sale price then if he sent money transfer? Obviously he didn't have the cash to pay full price on both.

And if I recall, PAP builds the subs after you order from them. They don't stock a bunch, because they are not a high volume dealer.

A lot of debit cards have a limit you can spend per day and that was most likely over his limit he could spend at one point which is why he sent money via paypal. I know mine has a $500 limit per day which is more than fine. They did it as a favor which was totally cool of them to honor sale price because he had issues. I've never had any issues with PAP I've used them before but when someone is wrong there is no way around it or no sugar coating it. If this were you, I'd be willing to bet you would be singing a different song.

Actually they are building my subs for me. The parts are there right now. I'll let ya know how they turn out.

Also he paid by credit card.....not debit card, and any cc I know of doesn't have a limit per day.

Face it....there is more to the story than the OP makes it out to be.

I've done a lot of transactions with the op and his brother they are not ones to lie to gain sympathy. I have seen the emails he is pretty much dead on with what he is saying. Would you care for screen shots?

Face it, it is hard for you to take this in as you are currently doing a transaction with PAP. Hard to see the wrong in someone when they are doing something for you. I've done business with Paul and John and they are good people and I will continue to recommend them business but they should honor their warranty as there is no way op messed this driver up. I will be taking a drive over to his house to see if I can help fix this situation. Also it was paid with his Chase debit card.

And if he paid with a cc, he can dispute it through the cc company.
He plans on going that route if pap does not help him out.

its not about how he paid for them, its the fact that one of the subs has coil rub right out of the box and they refuse to fix/replace it and didnt even insure them with USPS for the right amount. I think they should cover shipping back and forth if a product was damaged/poorly built right out the box. I personally like PAP they did a great job on my soundstream XXX recones, and loved my WMD's but yes their response to calls and emails are slow as hell.

Either way he has to send it back to them at his own expense. So I would start there and let PAP have a look at it. The CC co will make him send it back with proof of recievership anyway before they revert the funds.

But you say he paid with debit card....and they don't revert.

But he can file a PP claim.....

Why should he have to pay return shipping for something that should not have passed Q/C? Makes no sense at all and yes he can file a dispute with his bank and get his money back. All PAP has to do is send a recone kit and that's it. Either OP or I will recone the driver if it did come to this.

Merchandise has to be sent back to the retailer. That's how it works.....otherwise anyone and everyone would get their items for free saying they are defective.
I know this I'm not denying it but he would only be out $30~ rather than close to $60~ of shipping it to and fro

edit*

I'm talking about why should he pay shipping back and forth for them to fix their mistake? Makes no sense. They made the mistake of sending the driver out like that why should they not have to pay for it?

And how do you know nothing happened to it between the time it left them and arrived at your friends.....when it is not in their control? You are assuming it is 100% PAP's fault.
Cause there was no PHYSICAL DAMAGE. In order to cause coil rub from shipping they must have shipped the sub right after laying the bead of glue with no activator or shims. It is 100% PAP's fault how do you not see that is beyond me.

all I remember about pap from what I recall is they stole a design for a motor or something like that from visitor or 02parkave a long while back... if I recall that is.
