I know some members here do not like PAP, they said they had shady business practices or something, but I haven't heard anything bad from people who have actually used their drivers, so I would be willing to buy from them personally.

Thats what I thought it was, like reps paid to post on forums. Doesn't mean the products aren't good, they look to be really high quality.

They dont look bad, but to compare them to the mach 5's isnt real logical, since the mach 5's have a sealed motor assembly and these wmd's have vented thru the pole.

Too bad the owner of the company is a complete idiot and a liar.

For instance one of there marketing videos showed a WMD hooked to a house outlet @ 4 ohms. He stated that it was like 4000 watts or something because 110 x 4 was 4000 ( I forget his exact logic ) but he failed to take into account for impedance rise which probabably was 200+% makeing the power the sub received minimal.

We recieved a 12 in the Great 12 Test session and it got hot and wanted to die on like 1800 watts, I stoped testing then but the company told me to pus it further, at which point we did and the coil popped. I have it on video.

They get a check minus in my book.

pretty sure its the wmd, after this the company tried to make up even more bs claims about how our testing was bias'd so I quit paying any attention to them. After there flat out lies before the test I knew they were sketchy.

the wmd2 probably uses the same coil.

First off Pierce Audio Products is incorperated ran by a group of CEO's, there is not an "owner ' per say. This is not a marketing video made by PAP, rather a fun vid made by an avid user of a used sub getting ready for a recone. You can try and slander all you like but we make a great product at an even better price and stand by it, just ask our customers how well they like our products and service. Thanks for the props Dcole and Terra!
