They will be in the doors of a GMC pickup in a 3 way setup with 5.25 mids and tweeters in the kick panel

CDT- CL61A-25

ID- CTX65CS

MB Quart- RS1216

Polk- MM6

Seems like the Quarts will go the lowest to 38HZ

Or I'm open to other suggestions but would like to keep them under $200

I am using a set of thos Cdt comps in one of my rides and the CTX65's in my other and both have outstanding midbass. Deaden the doors well and you will feel the midbass pounding hard.

My vote would be for the CTX65CS. When I first installed mine the midbass was very pronounced, even in non-deadened doors. Once I deadened/sealed my doors it made a world of difference, I couldn't be happier with them.

Doors have already been deadened but will probably add more when I pull them apart. I'm also going to insulate the crap out of the door panel to cut down on road noise.

Actualy all I need are the speakers. I have a 3way setup now with 6.5 MB Quart in the doors, ADS 5.25 and tweeters in the kicks with MB Quart Musicomp 3way passive xovers. One of the 6.5 Quarts are ripped and both tweeters are blown. All that stuff is well over 10 years old and It sounded great for a long time but I think after 10 years I could do much better. I will be reusing the x-overs to save a little money. I got 2 kids in college and that ain't cheep you know.
