depends what your goal is, the DD is better when you abuse it with low impedence and voltage drops, the MMats is smaller and more square so fits in better places

yea i am going with the dd m3 i can get one used near me for 500 with 17 foot of 0g power wire 3 foot of ground and the mmats amp is only 5 dollers less and that is for the amp only thanks and if any one is looking for a kicker 2500.1 there is one on ebay for 375 + 25 shipping thanks for the help

I know its a little late in the game but I have two dd 3512 running at 0.5 ohms on the new mmats 3000.05 and its more than enough I love DD subs but imo nothing touches mmats as far as amplifiers smaller more power a and a whole lot more efficient at what 13.8 V where the dd3a is at its strongest at 14.4 I think the new mmats 3000.05 is a little pricey new though
