wiring up my sub

ok i have a 4ohm dvc sub and on the sticky i understand how to wire it to 2 ohms but when i do it does it matter what set of voice coils i directly connect the wire to? for example if i put the negative coming from the amp on one side of voice coils can the positive be ran to the exact side or does it need to start on the other side

Sounds like all this time youve been only using one coil.

idk how you got that he was only using one coil.. but it doesnt matter

if you look at the pic.. each coil has either + or - being the starting coil in the series

ok guys thanks... btw i did that and im smelling a funky smell from my sub and im kind of scared because i just blew my other rsd not to long ago
