Wiring up 2 batts...

umm, no. you can just connect them together
Ive had a lot of people tell me that they will. This is not to say that it wont work withouth the isolator because i know alot of people do it that way. I think as long as you dont listen to your stereo without the engine running your fine.

you run power wire from the front battery + to one side of the battery isolator. then have another piece from the other side. Have a wire ran from the acc wire and one to the ground in the front or just ground it to the body. 2 big posts for the battery and the other 2 smaller ones for acc and ground. Acc=Acessory.

You are describing how to wire up a relay, not an isolator. Maybe you guys are all confusing relays and diode based isolators? ngsm13 and I just had a discussion about this last week.
You *can* wire multiple batts together directly, doesn't mean its always the best way to go. For examples... if I had a weak-*** stock batt for the car up front, and a nice new expensive batt exclusively for the stereo in the back, Id prolly run an isolator. If I had 2 nice, new batts, one for under the hood and one for in the back for the stereo... and like to listen to stereo with the engine off alot, Id consider running a relay. If my batts are both approx the same age/condition, I dont listen to the stereo with the engine off much, and I dont want to spend money if I dont need to, id probably just wire the batts together directly.

Way too many threads lately with people over generalizing isolators, relays, etc.. and then recommending one type or the other based on this. Not a difficult topic guys, if you are in the market for dual batts, research relays/isolators/etc.
