Wiring to small?

Alright i just picked up my new amp Mark Antony MK-2500D (2500@1ohms, but i think thats at like 18v..) anyways right now in my car i have 4 gauge installed..the block on the amp takes 0..it doesnt say in the manual wuts recommended..so my question is this, if i hook it up to my 4 gauge in my car right now..can it mess anything up? Or should i just wait to have 0 gauge installed..? Thanks

As long as the wire is fused properly, you wouldnt damamge anything besides maybe a fuse or two, but since the block accpets 0awg, I would imagine that is what is recommended.

Alright thanks, got the same feedback from some other people..however i dont feel like regrounding some 4 gauge right now so unless i cud use the 8 gauge..im just going to wait till tomorow and get it installed with 0gauge

(i have 4 gauge to my dist. block, then 8 gauge out, and 8 gauge ground)
