ok so i took my car into wal-mart for an oil change and then they cant start my car. it turns out my battery was leaking acid and it was corroding on the ring terminal on the wire(leading to my amp), so there wasnt a good connection with the battery causing my car not ot start. i know another way to wire it is to the fuse box. i dont know how to do that. where do i hook the wire to.

well, if your battery was leaking, just clean it off and re-attach everything. If you want a neater install get something like this:

to connect you amp power wire and the vehicle's positive battery cable neatly and tightly.

Edit you cannot connect into the vehicles fuse box for an amp power cable, because it pulls too much current
