Wiring to a Mono amp

I'm new at wiring subs and I think i'm gonna try to save me some money on istallation and just install all of my stuff myself. I got the whole wiring the subs down inside the box, but I am a little confused when it comes to the amp. Once I wire them inside and connect them to the terminal cups, then I got 4 wires ( two from each sub + and -). Once I have the 4 wires what do I do if I am installing it into a mono amp. Do I just put both the +'s into the single area on the amp for the +'s and both the -'s into the single spot for the -'s????

I know how to wire all the crap.... I'm getting 2 12" RE SE's. They are 4 ohm DVC so I will wire in parrallel to get a 1 ohm load to amp. I just didnt understand what to do once I had to hook it into the amp. So I just stick 2 wires into the 1 hole. plus's in the plus and minus's in the minus...right?

dual 4 ohm subs ran in paralle will make each sub 2 ohm. you need to figure out what the ohm load on the amp is. if its a 1 ohm amp, wire the remaining 2 +'s and 2 -'s into another paralle configuration and you have a 1 ohm load. if its a 2 ohm amp, ha, good luck, if its a 4 ohm load amp, run the 2 +'s and 2 -'s in a series configuration and waalaa, 4 ohm load to the amp.

I've got 2 12" RE SE's which are both 4 ohm dvc and I am wiring it to a eD nine.1 in a 1 ohm load. Therefore I wire in parrellel and it will be a 1 ohm load, I just need to know once I got the 4 wires from the box to the amp. I dont know if I gotta connect them there or just put 2 wires into each - or + hole

If you wire a 4 ohm dvc sub in parelleits only going to take it down to 2 ohm's. Then take the other one and wire it the same way and you have another 2 ohm's. Then wire the 2 subs together in a paralle configuration and you have 1 ohm. So if you have 2 terminals coming from the box that the wires inside the box are wired to, wire the terminals together as if it were a coil in a paralle configuration and run 1 + and 1 - to the amp.

How do you connect the wires once I have them connected to the box and I am wiring them outside the box from the terminals. I have 4 wires, how do I wire them together? Just use wire cutters to get rid of plastic surrounding? and which wires do I wire to... + to + and - to -???

Yeah, get rid of the plastic surrounding so you have bare metal. And that amp is mono and i believe has two channels you can wire each speaker to it's own channel. The amp is bridged internally so there really is no point to bridging them on the outside of the amp. Take the + and - from sub one and run it to the + and - of the first channel. Do the same thing for the second sub and channel.
